Our heating and cooling system died. I am having a series of salesmen come and give me quotes. I have to deal with all the presuppositions they'll make: big house = big money = big quote and the she's-a-girl-she-doesn't-know-what-we're-doing thing. Sigh. Oh Lord, when will it be all over?
